Chris Janson's Creamy Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

Creamy Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff
¼ cup butter
2 lbs. beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
Sliced mushrooms
4 oz cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
6 cups egg noodles, cooked

Brown beef strips in a skillet with butter, onion, and garlic. Add beef in crockpot with soup, mushrooms, and salt and pepper to taste—cover and cook on low six hours. While cooking egg noodles, add cream cheese and sour cream to crockpot and stir until blended. Serve over hot, cooked egg noodles.
